Meeting a craftsman - Anchor bridge
Anchor Bridge had moved their base to Kobe from Tokyo recently, and opened an atelier under the elevating structure of trail line in the area many artists are gathering. And we visited them for welcoming to Kobe.
A whole space of the atelier was polished and fascinated us the minute we walked in. .
Anchor Bridge is a leather studio from Asakusa, Tokyo, founded by Mr. Murahashi Yoshihiro (Designer and Shoemaker) and Miss Sakai Noe (Leather Goods Designer). After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback, they established their own leather goods brand in 2012. And they moved to Kobe this year, where Mr. Murahashi is local and is know as a town of craftsmen.
The concept of the brand stems from passion of making things by hand. Anchor Bridge aims to showcase the allure of leather work whilst offering meticulous yet vibrant designs.
